  I. Physical Production of Tempered Glass

  In tempered glass factories, producing tempered glass through physical means is quite common. Generally, the glass is first heated in a high-temperature furnace. When the glass is heated to 600 degrees Celsius, the internal structure of the glass begins to change. At this time, the internal stress of the glass is generally eliminated, and the internal structure of the entire glass undergoes a new structural change. Then, cold air is sprayed onto the softened glass using multi-nozzle spray heads, allowing the glass to cool. This method can prevent uneven heating of the glass, and the interior of this glass is under a certain amount of tensile force, while the exterior is under stress. If damaged, it generally shatters directly into small pieces without any sharp edges.

  II. Chemical Production of Tempered Glass

  This chemically produced tempered glass is also commonly used in tempered glass factories and is a relatively novel production method. It mainly uses chemical component displacement reactions to change the entire structure of the glass. Simply put, glass containing alkaline metals is placed in molten lithium salt, and a new tempered glass can be obtained through a displacement reaction in a chemical reaction.

  Currently, the application of tempered glass is very extensive, ranging from large buildings to small items such as Mobile phones. After all, this type of tempered glass can improve the texture of products, which is something that other materials cannot achieve.
